The Association of Foundations (AF) has successfully launched LEAD to Serve Batch 6, a leadership development program designed to strengthen NGO leadership across the Philippines.
The program kicked off with a course orientation where participants received an overview of the course and guidance on completing individual and organizational pre-course assessments.
Among this year’s participants is Ednie Luceño-Casiller, Partnership Manager at the Foundation for a Sustainable Society, Inc. (FSSI). Since 2022, FSSI has sent three staff members to participate in the program and undergo the comprehensive course, reinforcing its commitment to capacity building and leadership development.
Grounded in the Philippine NGO Leadership Competencies Framework, LEAD to Serve covers 10 key leadership competencies essential for driving meaningful change. It features leadership and organizational assessments, results-oriented planning, mentoring support, and hybrid learning sessions.
The full course will run from April 2025 to April 2026, offering executive directors, deputy directors, program managers, program officers, and aspiring NGO leaders a unique opportunity to enhance their leadership skills and organizational impact.
