Local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and social enterprises in Odiongan, Romblon gathered on August 6, 2026, for an Information Session and Consultation conducted by the Foundation for a Sustainable Society, Inc. (FSSI) at the Bulwagan Hall of the Municipal Hall.

The initiative, organized through the efforts of Tatak SE: Ato Kali Industries, provided local entrepreneurs with an opportunity to learn more about FSSI’s financing programs and available support for their enterprises.

During the session, FSSI introduced its various financing mechanisms, including loans, developmental deposits, equity investments, and seed capital. The discussion provided participants with information on the different forms of support available to enterprises seeking additional resources for their operations and development.

The session also included an open forum where representatives from local businesses actively raised questions about the requirements and qualifications for accessing additional capital. This was followed by a consultation and the processing of financing applications, allowing participants to discuss their specific needs and explore potential financing opportunities.

The engagement forms part of FSSI’s continuing work in Romblon, one of its key focus areas under its current Strategic Plan. Through engagements such as this, FSSI continues to strengthen local social enterprises and support inclusive and sustainable economic development.

The session was facilitated by FSSI’s Partnerships Unit, composed of Partnership Manager Ednie Luceño-Casiller and Project Officer Sherwin Celestino.

FSSI thanks the local entrepreneurs and MSMEs who participated and actively engaged in the information session and consultation.
