The process for accessing financial assistance and the criteria for qualifying enterprises were discussed, along with the organization’s focus on the triple bottom lines (3BL), a framework that prioritizes people, planet, and profit. The 3BL approach emphasizes a holistic perspective, balancing social, environmental, and economic objectives pursued by social enterprises.
“Maari po kaming mag-provide up to 500,000 pesos [seed capital] loan at maaari din po kaming mag bigay ng tulong sa mga women-led and women-owned enterprises kahit wala pa po kayong one year na nag-ooperate pero kababaihan po ang nag-mamanage, ay welcome sa FSSI,” Celestino shared.
These developmental services include governance and leadership training, access to resources for adopting and improving the triple bottom lines (3BL), and access to the latest innovations in industry and business, environmental management, and gender and development.
