Quezon City, 5 September 2025 – As part of its 30th anniversary celebration, the Foundation for a Sustainable Society, Inc. (FSSI) held the first-ever 3BL Social Enterprise Awards to honor outstanding social enterprise partners that exemplify the Triple Bottom Line (3BL) of People, Planet, and Profit.
The FSSI 3BL Social Enterprise Awards recognized enterprises whose work demonstrates that enterprises can be both profitable and purposeful, staying financing sustainable while promoting inclusive growth, protecting the environment, and empowering communities.

Agusan del Sur-based solar energy enterprise JMJ Solar Panel and Equipment Store was conferred the FSSI 3BL Social Enterprise Gold Excellence Award for its exemplary integration of social, environmental, and economic goals.

Meanwhile, the Kilusang Lima (K5) Para sa Lahat Multi-Purpose Cooperative was honored with the Silver Excellence Award for its significant achievements in advancing the 3BL approach. The Kauyagan Savers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (KSMPC) and Mandaue City Public Market Vendors Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MAVENCO) were both acknowledged with the Bronze Excellence Award for their strong performance in balancing business success with social and environmental impact.
Two (2) other social enterprises were given special citations for remarkable contributions in advancing social entrepreneurship– Kisandal Multi-Purpose Cooperative and Nueva Segovia Consortium of Cooperatives (NSCC).
FSSI also presented Special Awards, including the FSSI Kaunlaran para sa Kapwa at Komunidad Award to the New Rural Bank of San Leonardo (NRBSL) for its outstanding contributions to community development and social empowerment.

Plantsville Health Products emerged as the FSSI Kaunlaran para sa Kalikasan Awardee, for its notable efforts in environmental stewardship and sustainable practices. Meanwhile, the Nueva Segovia Consortium of Cooperatives (NSCC) was given the FSSI Lakas ng Kababaihan Award, for its leadership in advancing women’s empowerment and gender equity through social entrepreneurship.

Twenty-five (25) social enterprises were also conferred the FSSI 3BL SE Achievement Awards for their steadfast commitment to 3BL values and their contributions to inclusive and sustainable development.
Additionally, FSSI recognized two (2) of its partner-member organizations, the Federation of Peoples’ Sustainable Development Cooperative (FPSDC) and the National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO). for their active collaboration with FSSI in co-investing and co-implementing social enterprise initiatives.

The awards ceremony was held as part of FSSI’s 30th Anniversary Dinner Celebration on September 5, 2025 at Seda Vertis North, Quezon City.
These recognitions reflect FSSI’s ongoing commitment to support and invest in social enterprises that embody its mission of promoting inclusive and sustainable development.
