The Foundation for a Sustainable Society, Inc. (FSSI) conducted an Enterprise Readiness and Ownership Training for new social enterprise (SE) partner, Liloy Green Tech Agri-producers Association from March 24 to 26, 2026, in Zamboanga del Norte. The primary goal of the session was to strengthen the association’s capacity to operate and sustain its enterprise activities by fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and strategic alignment among its members.
Throughout the three-day program, participants worked in activities designed to secure the long-term viability of their operations. Members focused on acknowledging their roles as enterprise owners and decision-makers while establishing formal agreements on responsibilities and reporting practices to ensure internal accountability.
The training also facilitated the adoption of a shared strategic direction, resulting in the identification of priority goals for the next three years. To ensure immediate progress, the association developed a comprehensive 90-day action plan featuring clearly assigned tasks and timelines.
This initiative highlights FSSI’s commitment to strengthening local enterprises by equipping them with the tools needed to build organizational resilience and achieve long-term economic sustainability, particularly within its priority focus areas.
Under its current Strategic Plan, Zamboanga del Norte has been identified as one of FSSI’s three key areas of focus, alongside Romblon and Samar, with Liloy Green Tech serving as the first social enterprise supported in the province.
As part of its strategy, FSSI has collaborated with organizations and government agencies in identifying priority sectors or industries, as well as potential partner social enterprises to be assisted and projects to be funded in these areas.
