FSSI at Kauyagan MPC GA

Impasug-ong, Bukidnon, 17 March 2024 — The Kauyagan Savers Multipurpose Cooperative marked a significant milestone as it celebrated its 16th Annual General Assembly, held in Impasug-ong, Bukidnon, with the theme “Reminiscing 20 and Sustaining Growth Path to 25: Steadfast to Cooperativism, Wellness, and the Right of Nature.”

The assembly gathered cooperative members and notable guests. In his keynote address, FSSI Executive Director Sixto Donato C. Macasaet commended the cooperative’s enduring dedication to fostering inclusive and sustainable growth.

“We join Kauyagan Savers MPC in celebrating your past 20 years, and we are committed to supporting your efforts to sustain your growth path towards higher productivity, equitable sharing of benefits, decent jobs and livelihoods, an improved environment, and enhanced well-being and community life,” Macasaet stated.

Kauyagan MPC is a social enterprise partner under FSSI’s Investing in Women (IW) Project. The celebration not only looked back on the cooperative’s achievements over the past two decades but also charted a course for future growth. Through various presentations and discussions, members explored strategies to enhance productivity and ensure the equitable distribution of benefits. Emphasis was placed on creating decent jobs and livelihoods, promoting environmental stewardship, and enhancing the overall well-being of the community.
