Design and maintain the institutional monitoring and evaluation system, conduct regular data collection and management of performance metrics and indicators, contribute to applying appropriate participatory and/or scientific data analysis and learning approaches to generate insights and lessons for continuous improvement of organization processes and program interventions, and oversee the design and establishment of and manage the organization’s management information system to support decision making.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Design and Implement Monitoring and Evaluation System
Development and implement the monitoring and evaluation plan for FSSI’s strategic plan; provide technical support to staff on implementation the M&E plan.
B. Program Information Management
Review and compile monitoring and evaluation reports; ensures availability of and access to means of verification; develops and maintains the M&E database.
C. Quality Assurance
Ensures that reports from partners and consultants are complete and meets quality requirements; conducts monitoring visits to ensure quality and to validate findings, as and when needed.
D. Reporting and documentation
Prepares periodic progress reports; collects and/ or assists in collecting case stories, best practice documentations.
E. Data Analytics and Management Information System
Design, establish and maintain FSSI’s management information system; verify integrity of data for analysis; uses appropriate data visualization, statistical and/ or machine learning methods to generate insights,
F. Capacity Development in M&E and MIS
Provide and/ or arrange for technical support to staff members for all M&E and MIS related activities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Management and other related fields; graduate course units or units in these areas is highly desirable
Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation, management information systems, data analysis, and research in the development sector.
Required skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills; analytical skills; good command of data analytics, IT and MIS; research skills; presentation skills.
